Joyfully invite you to celebrate their union in marriage on the twenty-second of November, two thousand and twenty-five.

The ceremony will take place at the beautiful Portico Balcony of Melbourne Town Hall, followed by an evening of celebration at Sophia in Prahran Arcade.

We are absolutely delighted to share this special moment with our dearest family and friends, and cannot wait to celebrate surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.

Our love story began with the best kind of serendipity. We were both doing our friends a favour – Marianne was there to meet her friend's boyfriend, Steve was meeting his friend's girlfriend. Neither of us realised we'd actually be meeting each other.

The hot pot dinner was just the beginning.... The real magic happened later at his friend's house, where the drinks were flowing and karaoke being sung. As a Chainsmokers' song blasted through the room, Marianne, unable to resist, found herself head-bopping along. Steve, captivated by her infectious energy, chuckled and struck up a conversation. Over drinks and lively chatter, they discovered a mutual love for adventure, good food and good tunes.

What started as polite conversation evolved into something magnetic – discovering shared passions and undeniable chemistry that made the hours fly by. A month later for their first date, Steve surprised Marianne with an immersive multi-sensory dining experience by Scott Pickett. The incredible date solidified what both had felt from that first night of unexpected connection.
